Serving 7 out of 10
of Rhea Countians

At Rhea County United Way, we do more than raise funds—we take action. We fight for a future where basic needs are met, poverty is alleviated, and all children have an equal chance to learn and succeed. Our mission is to build a thriving community where individuals and families can flourish.

Lasting change takes all of us. That’s why we connect leaders, businesses, nonprofits, and community members to support our neighbors in need. Together, we can create opportunities, ensure access to essential resources, and build a stronger, healthier Rhea County.

We have one life. To create a better future, we must Live United.

Health

We are building a healthy community one person at a time and one family at a time. From mobile food pantries to health education, to supporting the emotional and mental needs of our neighbors.

Education

We work with partners, schools, child care providers, preschools, and afterschool providers to help children succeed in school.

Economic Stability

We help working individuals and families achieve financial stability and independence through homelessness prevention programs and career assistance.

What We Do

Rhea County has been committed to strengthening our community by addressing both immediate needs and long-term challenges. We partner with local businesses, individuals, and organizations to support critical programs that promote health, education, and financial stability. Our initiatives provide essential services for working families, while also offering resources for those in crisis. By identifying gaps, convening experts, and mobilizing resources, we create sustainable solutions that support homebound seniors, families facing homelessness, and individuals in need of safety and stability.
